With various theories doing rounds (some of them even suggesting that the film would run for just 1.5 hours), the official word about Kamal Haasan’s ‘Thoongavanam’ is that, the movie’s run time is 2 hours and 7 minutes.

This has given happiness to Kamal fans, who were earlier worried a bit that the film would end soon. ‘Thoongavanam’ has also completed Censor formalities and it has been cleared with U/A certificate.

‘Thoongavanam’ directed by Rajesh M Selva is tipped to be a gripping thriller and Kamal and Trisha have fight scenes together too. Prakashraj, Asha Sarath, Yugi Sethu and Kishore are there in key roles, while music is by Ghibran.

Plans are on to release the movie for Deepavali. The film has been simultaneously made in Telugu, under the title ‘Cheekati Rajyam’. Kamal plays a top official in Narcotics Control Bureau in this flick.
