The rights of the film Aadukalam which has Dhanush in the lead role has been acquired by Sun Pictures. After the hit of the Polladhavan, Group Company Kadhiresan is producing the film Aadukalam.
Dhanush is doing the lead roles while a Delhi based model Topsy is pairing with Dhanush. Vetrimaaran is directing this film. This film is based on the lives of the people living in Madurai.
Because of this I stayed in Madurai for months together to write the story. Novelist VJS Jayabalan is doing an important role. The shooting is going on in Madurai. The songs by G V Prakash Kumar have come out well. Song sequences are to be shooting foreign locales. The rights of this high budgeted film has been acquired Sun Pictures.”
