Just when you though whether Tamil film heroes came out of their obsession in maintaining the so-called ‘six-pack-abs’, the flair for physique returns on-screen through Aadhi.  The actor, who impressed many with his portrayal of a cop in last year’s thriller ‘Eeram’, plays hero in ‘Mahabali’.

‘Mahabali’, incidentally, is directed by Vasanthabalan, who is basking in the glory of the success of his latest film ‘Angaadi Theru’.  When Vasanthabalan’s mettle as a director is well-known to everyone, why should his film’s hero want to sport a six-pack-abs like Suriya, Vishal and Aarya?

Vasanthabalan has reportedly instructed Aadhi to develop his physique to suit his role in the film.  While the story of ‘Mahabali’ remains one of the best-kept secrets of Kollywood, there is another twist in the tale.  If reports are to be relied upon, Aadhi has reportedly been asked by Balan to grow a lengthy hair (not dissimilar to Aarya’s long-haired look in Naan Kadavul) for portraying ‘another shade’ of his role.
