Nadhiya’s answer is a big no to questions that whether she would follow the suit of her ‘Jackpot’ predecessor Kushboo by entering politics in future. “I don’t even know the basics of politics,” says the yesteryear heartthrob.


“I accepted the Jackpot offer since I found it interesting and challenging. Also, my daughters supported me. I have no plans to take the political plunge,” says Nadhiya, adding Kushboo is a very good friend of her.

Expressing hope that she could host the show well, the actress says, “It may look odd for the viewers during the initial weeks. But I am hopeful that I could attract them with my presentation skills very soon.”

On her second innings in Tamil cinema, she says, “I am happy with the offers I have been getting. Many point out that I have not acted with Kamal Hassan so far. I am ready to work with him if an offer comes my way.”
