Actor Prakash Raj, who has won the national award for 'best actor' for his Priyadarshan directed film 'Kanjivaram', is spotted in very happy mood nowadays. Sources close to the versatile actor say that the actor is all set for hi second marriage with Bollywood choreographer Bony Verma (her first) in the coming weeks.
As he has been granted divorce with his actress-wife Lalitha kumari, Prakash raj would soon by tying the nuptial knot with Bony Verma. The date and venue would soon be finalized and announced, it is learnt.
In the meantime, Prakash raj has earnestly started shooting for the Tamil remake of the Telugu super-hit film 'Happy Days' (which incidentally was Tamannaah's debut film in Telugu). The film would showcase the lives of students in the college campus including their cat-fights, feelings for each other, love affairs, etc.
Prakash raj, who has made it a policy of producing films only in Tamil, adds that the film would be full of newcomers – all the lead actors, director and music director are all new to films and would be debuting with this film. Sonia, who starred in Lingusamy's 'Paiyaah', is the only recognizable face in the film whch is being directed by Guhan, who was the cinematographer of films like 'Mozhi' and 'Vellithira', Prakashraj's earlier production ventures.
Instead of the usual audio-launches, Prakashraj says that he intends to visit a few chosen colleges in Tamil Nadu and hand over the audio cassettes/CDs of the film. In all humility, he admits that his national award doesn't make him a better actor than others in the industry.
