Migration from one language to another by actresses seems to be more than ever before. And the significant observation in that is the actresses are not biased anymore. Earlier Tamil and Telugu were considered superior and Malayalam and Kannada were not the preferred destinations. Now that good films have started flowing from all the south Indian languages all woods are their woods.
Of the new lot Malayalam actresses Meera Nandan, Oviya and Archana Kavi are trying to get a foot hold in Kollywood. And from Tamil films Anjali of 'Angadi Theru' is all set to do her first Malayalam movie.
Anjali's first movie in Mollywood would be 'Payyans' and she will play heroine opposite Jayasuriya. The film dwells on the complicated relationship between a father and his son. 'Lal and Rohini will play Jayasuriya's parents. 'Payyans' is directed by Leo Thaddeus.
