Krishna (Ravi) is a guy of adventures and loves KICKS in all his works. In fact, the narration of his characterization during initial minutes of films speaks of his nature. His girlfriend Nisha (Thamannah) has already broke up with him. Now her parents have decided to get her married with a police office, again named Krishna Kumar (Shaam). Nisha speaks about her boyfriend, who is so unconvinced with simple things in life and keeps taking risks. Even at places, where he earns Rs.1Lakh as his remuneration, he resigns the job at the end of first month. This makes Nisha get away from him and is now getting engaged with Krishna Kumar, who has come to Malaysia in search of a thief. The biggest twist in the tale is that the thief in Malaysia is none other than Nisha’s ex-boyfriend Krishna. Now the cop and thief start playing the chasing game and meanwhile Krishna wants to win back the heart of Nisha. Why Krishna, a well educated and talented guy is involved in the robbery of million of rupees is exposed in the second half.

Jeyam Ravi is done what just Ravi Teja has done in the Telugu film and Thamannah too the same as Ileana. Jeyam Ravi is bubbly with his activeness and his jovial nature is delivered well by Raja. Thamannah looks cute and has worked well on her costumes. Vadivelu’s comedy tracks are enjoyable and Santhanam should have been given some importance as when compared to his previous films, he doesn’t get more scenes. Prabhu and Suhasini as Ravi’s parents have done a good job. Shaam is fantastic as he suits the role of a cop. For those, who have seen the film KICK, it is like watching the film second time as nothing has been altered. But, if you are watching the film for the first time and then you need not worry as it offers wholesome entertainment.
Technical parts are nice as Yuvan’s songs are nice and camera work is also good. The film’s lengthy duration does not seem to be big constraint as the narration is so enjoyable with fun, frolic, romance and action with sentimental realms during the flashback sequences and a convincing climax.

If you are planning to watch this film, go ahead and relax sitting back as Thillalangadi is good at parts.
Verdict: Nice Entertainment as in Kick
Rating: 5/10
