The audio of superstar Rajinikanth’s Robot, the Telugu version of his much awaited fantasy flick Enthiran, was released on Friday at Hotel Taj Krishna, Hyderabad. Megastar turned politician Chiranjeevi released the audio CD and presented the first copy to Rajinikanth. The trailer was released by Mohan Babu.

Director Shankar, Sun Pictures CEO Hansraj Saksena, D. Rama Naidu, cinematographer Ratnavel, IMAX Ramesh Prasad, Kajal Aggarwal and Sreenu Vytla were among the prominent personalities who took part in the event. Aishwarya Rai did not attend since she was suffering from fever, but sent her best wishes through a speech. Director Shankar, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu spoke during the occasion.
The music is composed by A.R Rahman. Lyricist Bhuvana Chandra, Suddala Ashok Teja and Vanamali penned the lyrics for the Telugu version. The music of the Tamil version was released recently in Malaysia. Produced under the banner of Sun Pictures, the film is directed by Shankar.
