Director Panneer Selvam started off his directorial debut with a crime-thriller 'Renigunta' and is now gearing for a psycho-thriller laced with comedy and romance. The film '18 Vayasu' has started rolling across the housing boards located in Mogappair. The interesting news about the film is its similarities with Kamal Haasan's 'Aalavandhan'.
According to the sources, the film's protagonist is psychologically affected by his parent's separation. Few encounters give him a wrong perception about Love and when his friend commits suicide out of love failure, his alter ego comes into existence.
The complete first half is reported to be filled with fun, frolic and romance while the second half takes place in the deep-rooted forests.
