Prakashraj takes a dig at ‘audio-launches’ held abroad

Actor Prakashraj's remarks at the audio-launch of his latest production 'Inidhu Inidhu' are both interesting and controversial. The versatile actor, who has made it a point to produce films most in Tamil and not in his mother-tongue Kannada, held the audio-launch of his upcoming film 'Inidhu Inidhu' on 1st August (Sunday), celebrated worldwide as Friendship Day.

Prakashraj takes a dig at audio launches held abroad

"It's quite obvious that I hold the audio-launch of my film in Tamil Nadu and in the midst of Tamililans. I didn't and won't think of holding the audio-launch abroad," said Prakashraj, apparently referring to the audio-launch of Rajni's 'Enthiran: The Robot' held the previous day in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

'Inidhu Inidhu' has been produced undr Prakashraj's home banner Duet Movies, which has made some memorable movies in the past like 'Mozhi'. After holding the audio-launch in Chennai, Prakashraj said that he was planning similar audio-launches in many cities like Tiruchy, Madurai and Coimbatore.

Prakashraj attended the audio-launch with his fiancé Bony Verma, a noted choreographer in Bollywood. He also said that other than revealing the fact that Bony had choreographed the songs in 'Inidhu Inidhu', he wasn't going to say or answer to any queries about her on the occasion. "This is not the place to discuss my personal life," he categorically stated.

"People spend crores and crores of rupees to produce a film but for some reasons, choose to hold the music launch away in a foreign country. I don't want to do so and here I am, holding the music-launch of my film very much in Tamil Nadu and among Tamilians," he said.
