Most of the Gowtham Menon's projects remain unconfirmed on the spur of moment. At times, his films like Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikalam were shelved nearly towards the completion and he started filming 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya'. Off the late, the director signed for a bilingual film with Telugu actor Rana and Samantha in lead roles.

Soon on postponed his 'Thuppariyum Anand', the director planned to remake 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya' in Hindi with Prateik Babbar and Trisha in lead roles. The film was supposed to be produced by Gowtham Menon in collaboration of Purple Arts Production and 20th Fox Century.

But now the shooting isn't happened at the preplanned schedules and the casting process itself isn't over.

The sources closer to Gowtham Menon have revealed that the shooting may kick-start by mid-of-November or first week of December as the director is busy now simultaneously working in production of many films.
