Choosing passable scripts with unique characterizations – Karan's most special USP has been taking him at a commendable pace. The basic line of his upcoming film 'Sooran' is that every human is a hero in any aspect of life. Kerala's Anu and Delhi based Shipali star opposite him in female lead roles. 'Ayan' fame Jagan, Satish, Manivannan, Raj Kapoor, Ponvannan , Santhana Bharathy, 'Pithamagan' Mahadevan and many others have been signed for enacting prominent characterizations.

Karan is well known for encouraging new filmmakers and has already worked with more debutants rather than joining hands with well-experienced directors. 'Sooran' is directed by Balu Narayanan, once an associate of director Kiccha.

P.B. Balaji has scored music for the lyrics of Yugabharathy and M. Sivakumar has handled cinematography. The film is produced by Arovana Pictures Pvt Ltd and is scheduled to hit screens in December.
