Radha Ravi in AIADMK again

In a surprise move, Radha Ravi on Monday called on AIADMK general secretary and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and enrolled himself in the main opposition party of the State.
The AIADMK headquarters, in a brief press release, said the actor met the party supremo at her Poes Garden residence in Chennai and rejoined the party. The party also released a photograph of Radha Ravi posing with Jayalalithaa.
This comes a few days after the South India Film Artistes Association general secretary, met All India Congress Committee general secretary Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi and said that he would take a decision on joining the national party within a week.
The actor, who began his political career in the DMK, later joined the MDMK before finally settling in the AIADMK. Radha Ravi was elected from Saidapet Constituency in 2001 on an AIADMK ticket.
