Vaanam (English: Sky) is a forthcoming Indian Tamil action-drama film written and directed by Krish. A remake of his own 2010 Telugu film Vedam, the film stars Silambarasan, Sneha Ullal, Sonia Agarwal, Prakashraj, Bharath and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles. Jointly produced by Ganesh Janardhanan and Githan Ramesh, the film, featuring music, cinematography and editing by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Nirav Shah and Anthony Gonsalves, respectively, is currently in its production stage and expected to release on 5 November, during Diwali 2010.
