Dhanush's previous release 'Kutty' wasn't a commendable hit as it was washed out within few days after release. Now the same team is yet to strike back, this time again with a remake script. 'Ready' starring Ram and Genelia proved to be an outstanding blockbuster in both Telugu and Kannada. The film is also being remade in Hindi with the same title starring Salman Khan and Asin in lead roles.

Meanwhile the producers of 'Uthamaputhiran' have taken a cake walk as the film has been sold out for a bigger price. According to the film's spokesperson, it has been confirmed that the film will released at 600 theatres in Tamil Nadu alone.

This will be only big budget movie for this festive occasion. Touted to be a family entertainer embellished with lots of star-casts, the film is sure to attract the universal audiences.
