Devi Bala, the refurbished screen at Devi Cineplex, was thrown open in Chennai on Sunday. According to the theatre officials, Devi Bala is the fist screen in India to have a 3D Dolby Digital projection system.

Archana, daughter of A.G.S. Kalpathi Agoram, inaugurated the screen. Producer Udhayanidhi Stalin was also present at the event. Devi Bala will now screen the 3D version of Narnia - The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, from December 3 .
