Aamir Khan's previous films 'Taare Zameen Par', 'Ghajini' and '3 Idiots' were released on December 24 of the preceding years and turned to be bigger blockbusters. Although, the actor hadn't started shooting for his next film with Farhan Akhtar, buzzes were that his other film 'Dhobi Ghat' will hit screens for Christmas. But now the actor has confirmed that it would get released only on Jan 21, 2011.

'Dhobi Ghat' is a drama about 4 different characters and their parallel stories in which Prateik Babbar (playing lead role in Gowtham Menon's 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya' Hindi remake) plays the lead role and Aamir Khan as one amongst the 4 characters. The film is directed by his wife Kiran Rao and it marks her debut directorial.

The film's first teaser was released shortly and the film has been already screened in various international film festivals.

So Aamir Khan Fans will have to wait a month longer for his next movie. However it's gonna be a double treat from Aamir in 2011 as his other film will surely get released for next year's Christmas.
