16: Shiva’s next
‘Mirchi’ Shiva of Chennai 600028 and Saroja fame, will carry a film entirely on his shoulders for the first time he acts as the solo hero of 16, a love story. Shiva, who used to be an RJ, has built an enormous fan base in a short time with his high energy level, enthusiasm and acting skills. 16 is about a young man in love and a family that disapproves it. How he makes them accept his love forms the crux of the story. Sabapathy, who directed successful films like Bharatan, Enga Thambi, Sundarapurushan, VIP and Punnagai Poovae, has written 16′s story and screenplay and also directs it. The film is in its post-production stage and is expected to grace theatres by next month. After completing 16, Shiva will star in Gautham Menon’s next.
Mirchi Shiva’s friend ace music director Yuvanshankar Raja scores the music for 16. Madhu Shalini, is the heroine. Arul Das handles the camera and A. Shivashankar is the producer.
