With A.R. Rahman and Yuvan Shankar Raja having most of their albums released during this year, it has been a splendid era for the music lovers. However, it's A.R. Rahman topping the charts with his three songs 'Hosanna' (Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya), 'Kadhal Anukkal' (Enthiran) and 'Kilimanjaro' (Enthiran). Yuvan Shankar Raja's 'Adada Mazhaida' (Paiyaa), 'Iragai Poley' (Naan Mahaan Alla) and 'Poo Mudhal Pen Varai' (Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai' have rocked amongst the young cohorts for this year.

Most of the other hits have been melodic numbers 'Pookal Pookkum' (Madharasapattinam), 'Aval Appadi Ondrum' (Angaadi Theru) and again Yuvan Shankar Raja's 'Idhu Varai' (Goa).

The repeatedly tracks on the party floors are 'Evandi Unna Pettha' (Vaanam), 'Irumbile Oru Idhayam' (Enthiran) and 'Meiyaana Inbam' (Easan).
