Vikram’s next inspired by I am Sam?
We all know that in Vikram, V stand for versatility. He is one actor who can pull off any complex role with ease. After the critically acclaimed Raavanan, Vikram is currently busy with Madarasapattinam Vijay’s next film with two heroines: Amala Paul and Anushka (who plays the role of a lawyer). In addition, six year old Sara is also playing a prominent role, reportedly that of Vikram’s daughter. There are also reports that Vikram plays the role of a man with developmental disabilities.
This means the plot of the film is similar to critically-acclaimed Hollywood flick I am Sam, which was remade in Hindi as Main Aisa Hi Hoon, starring Ajay Devgn, Esha Deol and Sushmita Sen. The film is about a father (with a developmental disability), who fights for his daughter’s custody with the support of a high-powered lawyer. Don’t the plots look similar?
