Prakash Raj is producing a film titled Payanam under the banner Silent Movies. This film is being made in Tamil and Telugu. Nagarjuna is doing the lead role. This film is being directed by Radha Mohan. This film is based on a plane hijack. Nagarjuna while speaking about this film said," My first Tamil film was Idhyathai Thirudathe.

Then I continued to act in Udhayam and Rakshakan. Since I was busy in Telugu films I did not act in Tamil films. I liked the story of Payanam. I was interested to act in Prakashraj films. This has been fulfilled through the film Payanam. This is a thriller film. I was very satisfied when I saw the film.
I am very happy that I am acting in the Tamil film after a long time. Tamil film world is better than compared to Telugu cinema world. The reason for my youthfulness is due to my hereditary. I also do exercises and above all its God's grace."

Prakashraj while speaking said, "I produced Payanam because I liked the story. We erected plane and airport sets spending Crores of rupees. The film has come out well. We will be releasing the film next month."
