Ilayaraaja enters film distribution with Sengaathu Bhoomiyile

Rathnakumar directed Sengaathu Bhoomiyile will be composer Ilayaraaja's maiden attempt in film distribution. Rathnakumar is known for penning the story and dialogues of the award winning rural themed movies, Kizhakku Cheemayile and Karuththamma. Sengaathu Bhoomiyile, like Rathnakumar's earlier ventures, will explore the life and human relations in rural Tamil Nadu. Sengaathu Bhoomiyileh may be Ilayaraaja's first attempt in movie distribution, but it is the doyen's 903rd in music direction.
