Tamil Nadu Film Directors Union has officially condoled the death of Parvathi Ammal, mother of LTTE founder V Pirapaharan.

The statement signed by its President Bharathiraja and General Secretary Selvamani says "Mother is the source of life. Pirapaharan’s mother is the source of Tamil Eelam."
The statement also said that time will never pronounce a wrong judgment and Tamil Nadu Film Directors Union condoles the death of that valiant mother.
