3 Idiots: Suriya to hold press conference
Sources close to Suriya said that the actor is upset by the negative news floating around these days about why he opted out of ace director Shankar’s Tamil-Telugu remakes of 3 Idiots, which are now all set to go on to floors with Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth, Ileana and Sathyaraj in lead roles!
There were some reports earlier that Suriya opted out of the film after Shankar and the producers Gemini Film Circuit refused to offer the pay that Suriya demanded. Besides, it was also rumoured that Suriya demanded the Telugu rights as well.
However, sources denied any such demand from the actor. ‘Suriya couldn’t allocate dates for the movie and he didn’t want to keep Shankar waiting for him. The actor has his dates full with schedules of 7am Arivu and Maatran and therefore, talks between the director and Suriya didn’t even reach to the level where they would discuss the fee. But Suriya isn’t naïve and knows that rumours won’t die down till he speaks to the media directly, ‘ they said.
So the actor is planning to hold a press conference soon to clear the air and put all rumours to rest!
