Remember Malayalam director Chandrasekhar, who made many family movies in the 90s, including Oru Kochu Bhoomikulukkam? After a decade, he is back!

His next Malayalam film has been titled Achante Aanmakkal and will star popular Tamil hero Sarathkumar in the lead. Sarathkumar plays a Coimbatore based Tamil guy who also speaks Malayalam. Notably, Sarathkumar recently made his Malayalam debut as a solo hero with The Metro, but the film could not make waves at the box office.

Padmapriya is the heroine. The film was launched last week at a grand function held at BTH Sarovaram, Ernakulam. Regular shooting will commence in Coimbatore next week. Screenplay is by Nawas, Camera by Jibu Jacob and music by Jassie Gift. The cast includes Jagadish, Suraj, Vijayaraghavan and Radha Varma.
