Vishnuvardhan walks out of Ajith's Bill-2, Chakri Toleti to direct Ajith

Here is a bombshell update of Ajith starrer Billa-2. The film is occupying the headlines in brief intervals about its new developments and this time it's regarding the director. has reported that the film is being directed by Vishnuvardhan who directed the earlier version Billa but now it is heard that Vishnu has walked out of the project. Instead of him Chakri Toleti of 'Unnaipol Oruvan' fame will be wielding the megaphone for prestigious film. The reason behind this is nothing serious, he found it difficult to handle two mega projects at a time 'Billa 2' and Telugu film 'The Shadow' and so the film makers thought of replacing Vishnu with Chakri. Director Chakri Toleti has done his graduation in Filmmaking and VFX from USA.
The rest of the details of the cast and crew of Billa-2 will be announced latest by March 15th and the shooting will hit the floors by the last week of April. The film makers are in plans to release the film mostly by this year end.
Anushka is likely to star opposite Ajith in Billa-2.

News is....
Director Vishnuvardhan is all set to begin the prequel of his 2007 super hit film Billa with Ajith in April. Meanwhile, the director is currently in Mumbai looking for a suitable heroine. ‘For my Billa 2, I need a glamorous-looking heroine to play the mobster’s first love. It looks like it will be a heroine from Mumbai, though nothing has been firmed up yet,’ the director was quoted as saying.
The prequel, titled Billa 2, is produced under the banner of Wide Angle Creations (led by George Pius and Suresh Balaje, son of producer-actor K. Balaje, who produced the original Billa with Rajinikanth in 1980) and presented by Mumbai based Sunir Kheterpal, CEO of IN Entertainment (India) Limited, part of the Hinduja Group.
According to Suresh Balaje, Billa 2 will have the entire team which was behind Billa (2007): director Vishnuvardhan, cinematographer Nirav Shah, editor Sreekar Prasad and music director Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film is expected to grace theatres in early 2012.
