It's been like the political fever has started in Tamilnadu. As one of the biggest and expected deal has happened yesterday in Tamilnadu politics.

Vijayakanth actor turned politician has merged his party DMDK with veteran actress Jayalalitha's party AIADMK for the forthcoming state elections. It's been like Jayalalitha is making strong foundation before the elections as AIADMK now includes parties of Kollywood celebrities like Indian National League, actor R Sarath Kumar's Akila India Samathuva Makkal Katchi, actor M Karthik's Akila India Nadalum Makkal Katchi and director Seeman's Naam Thamizhar Iyakkam.

Vijayakanth's DMDK party has been given 41 seats and a formal agreement has been signed by Jayalalitha and Vijayakanth. Besides this DMDK has shown a vote share of 12% during the last elections.

Now Vijayakanth's camp office is being decorated with the posters of MGR films and both the parties are fully positive about the result.

Tamil Nadu elections are set to happen during the month of April.
