Elections for the 14th Tamil Nadu Legislature will be held on April 13th. Going by the Kollywood-Tamil Nadu political legacy, actors are fast choosing alliances to campaign for in the elections.
Actors Jeyam Ravi, Barath, S.P.B. Charan and Rohini have chosen their camp, which is quite a unique one. The actors will be campaigning for the Tamil Nadu Election Commission on the need to cast one's vote to uphold one's commitment towards the nation.

The campaign, part of the Election Commission's move to make people realize their democratic duty, will take the form of short films, which would be screened at cinemas and on television. Kollywood sources hint that more actors will take this route to avoid being pressurised by political parties to campaign for them.
