Yes! Though Mani Ratnam haven't roped him for the last film Raavanan, but this time he is particular on getting PC Sriram on to the board for Ponniyin Selvan. Recently Mani approached him by asking him to do the cinematography for the magnum opus as he has in-depth knowledge about the epic Ponniyin Selvan. PC Sriram has the read the novel for more than five or six times and he has the knowledge of classifying each and every shot where and when to appear in the film.

Mani Ratnam and PC Sriram have worked together for Mouna Ragam, Nayagan and Agni Natchathiram.
