For the entire Kollywood industry and the audience Friday seems to be the most important and big day as all the latest films make themselves on to big screen. The filmmakers are very keen while releasing the films as they see a perfect time for releasing the film. But in the recent days if observed filmmakers are playing a safe game without releasing the films due the effect of exams, elections, World Cup Cricket and IPL.

These four factors turned as big hurdle for the producers and distributors as they can't make much money at the box office if the release happens. From the last four weeks Friday's are very silent as only B & C grade films are releasing along with English dubbing films. Now let's take a look at the films which were stopped from the release inspite of completing the shoot

Engeyum Kadhal - A feel good romantic entertainer with Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani doing the lead roles. Directed by Prabhu Deva the film completed the shoot long back and was given clean U yesterday. The songs are already a rage. But the release date is in the hands of Sun pictures and is expected to be announced soon.

Mappillai – Dhanush and Hansika in the lead roles is the remake of yesteryears Superstar Rajinikanth film of the same title. The audio was released during last week and wonder when the film would release. The film was much hyped and the audiences have lot of expectations on the film.

KO - KO realese has been postponed for quite a number of times until now. The film has completed all the works and is ready for the green signal by the filmmakers. The attracting facets of KO are director K V Anand, hero Jeeva, the debut of Karthika Nair and last but not the least the melodies of Harris Jayaraj especially the track Ennamo Yeadho is outstanding . The release date is awaited as the filmmakers are looking for the perfect timing.

Avan Ivan: Director Bala has tried out something which is completely different in this film. Recently the shooting got completed and the audio along with the film release is awaited. Arya and Vishal look completely different and somewhat it looks like Vikram's Pithamagan.

Vaanam: Simbu's most awaited film of the season is currently under post production works. Vaanam is the remake of critically acclaimed Telugu film Vedam, which brings Simbu is the role of Cable Raja. STR, Bharath, Anushka, Vega, Jasmine, Prakash Raj and Sonia Agarwal play major roles. The music is going to hit the stores on March 19^th, 2011, need to wait for the release date.

So, guys let's wait until all the four factors gets completed, no other alternative.
