Here is the breaking news, one of the most anticipated music of the year Avan Ivan will be released on 18th of April 2011. This has been confirmed by none other than Sony Music the official audio rights holders.

The film stars Arya and Vishal in the lead roles while the female leads are essayed by Janani Iyer and Madhu Shalini. The album comprises of four songs scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the most happening music composer of Kollywood. Vishal and Arya took a makeover for this film and will be seen as siblings in the film. The director assured that Avan Ivan is going to be a different film with more of comedy elements. Bala generally engages Music maestro Ilayaraja to compose the music for his films bit this time he brought his son Yuvan on board for Avan Ivan.

Arthur A. Wilson and Sreekar Prasad worked for cinematography and editing departments respectively. Kalpathi S. Agoram of AGS Entertainments has produced the film.

Avan Ivan will simultaneously release in Telugu as Vadu Veedu. The film is slated for a theatrical release on May 20, 2011.
