Karthi's family has started the hunt for a suitable bride for him and finally the hunt ended successfully by finding Ranjani. Ranjani is Chinnasamy and Jothi Meenakshi in Erode and she has completed her post-graduation in MA English Literature with a gold medal, from the Stella Maris College Chennai. Karthi is 5 films old but he earned a special place in Kollywood with his perfect acting skills within a short span of time.

Though many rumors haunted him but Karthi always confessed that he would be marrying a girl of his parent's choice. Recently when Karthi and his parents have visited Ranjani's place for the final talks on wedding arrangements and Karthi had a hour-long conversation with Ranjani. Karthi's girl said that liked him in the films Paruthiveeran and Aayirathil Oruvan.

Karthi and Ranjani are getting married on 3rd of July and the couple also planned to fly to Tahiti Island which is located at a zone where Pacific Ocean meets the Atlantic Ocean.
