Ko (English: King) is an upcoming Indian Tamil film directed by K. V. Anand starring Jeeva, Ajmal Ameer, newcomer Karthika Nair and Piaa Bajpai in lead roles. The film is currently in its production stage and slated for a release on 15th April 2011

Avan Ivan (Tamil: அவன் இவன்) is an upcoming Tamil comedy film written and directed by Bala, who with this project directs his fifth feature film. The film will star Arya, Vishal Krishna, Janani Iyer, and Madhu Shalini in the lead roles. The film, produced by Kalpathi S. Agoram's AGS Entertainment, features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Arthur A. Wilson and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. It is currently in its post production stage and slated for a theatrical release on May 20, 2011.

Engeyum Kaadhal (Tamil: எங்கேயும் காதல், Eṅkēyum Kātal ?) (English: Love is Everywhere) is an upcoming Tamil romance film written and directed by Prabhu Deva. It stars Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani, in her first Tamil film, in the lead. Featuring music by Harris Jayaraj, it is produced by Kalpathi S. Agoram and Releasing on 29th April 2011.

Vaanam (Tamil: வானம்; English: Sky) is a forthcoming Indian Tamil action-drama film written and directed by Krish. A remake of his 2010 Telugu film Vedam, the film will feature an ensemble cast, including Silambarasan, Bharath, Anushka Shetty, Prakash Raj and Saranya. The score and soundtrack of the film are composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while cinematography and editing are handled by Nirav Shah and Anthony Gonsalves, respectively. Jointly produced by Ganesh Janardhanan and R. Ganesh, Vaanam is currently in its post-production stage and is set to be released by Dayanidhi Azhagiri's Cloud Nine Movies tentatively on May 06, 2011. The story revolves around five important characters, representing the five natural elements - sky, air, water, fire and earth.

Deiva Thirumagan is a forthcoming Indian Tamil drama film written and directed by A. L. Vijay, starring Vikram, Anushka Shetty and Amala Paul in the lead roles, with Karthik Kumar in a guest appearance. Titles including Deiva Magan and Pitha were under consideration for the film, but unavailable since being registered already by other filmmakers. It is scheduled for a June 2011 release.

Velayudham (Tamil: வேலாயுதம்) is an upcoming Tamil superhero film directed by M. Raja. It stars Vijay and Genelia D'Souza playing the lead roles while Hansika Motwani and Saranya Mohan portray other pivotal roles. The film was formally launched on July 15, 2010 with its photo shoots taken earlier during the month. Produced by V. Ravichandran's Aascar Films. The film is currently in its post production stage and expected to release on June 22, 2011.

Mankatha (Tamil: மங்காத்தா) is an upcoming Tamil comedy-action thriller film written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. It will feature Ajith Kumar in the lead role, making it his 50th film, along with an ensemble cast including Arjun, Trisha Krishnan, Sneha, Vaibhav Reddy, Lakshmi Rai, Premji Amaren and Anjali. The film, to be produced and distributed by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine Movies, was formally launched in August 2010 and is expected to release on June 2011.The film is said to revolve around a Mafia gang gambling during the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket season.
