The shooting of Superstar Rajinikanth's Rana has commenced today at AVM studios in Chennai.
Being a high budget film all the fans of Super star expected a high profile launch but to the surprise of all it was a simple affair without much fanfare.
Rajini will be seen in three roles of different age groups. It's only Deepika Padukone who got confirmed for the female lead and the rest of them are yet to be confirmed. If all goes well, Ileana will be pairing opposite Rajini and will be occupying Vidya Balan’s role. Bollywood yester years ever green beauty Hema Malini got finalized recently opposite elder Rana. Rajini and director Ravi Kumar are moving to UK to finalize the get ups of the three roles in the film.Rana will be a joint venture between Eros International and Ocher Studios.
