Simbu’s much-awaited multistarrer Vaanam, which also has Anushka, Bharath, Vega, Prakashraj, Saranya and Sonia Agarwal in prominent roles, has created curiosity among critics and audiences alike. The film recently cleared the Censors’ hurdle with a U/A certificate without any visual cuts.
Interestingly, the Censor Board officials praised Simbu for his wonderful effort, which delighted him. The film, produced by VTV Productions and Magic Box, has some mind blowing music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Nirav Shah is the cinematographer and Anthony takes care of the editing. Dayanidhi Alalgiri’s Cloud Nine Movies has acquired the release rights of the film. Kural TV Creations (P) Ltd is handling the Chennai release.
Vaanam is the Tamil remake of the critically acclaimed Telugu film Vedam, which had Allu Arjun, Manoj Manchu, Anushka and Prakashraj in the star cast. Vaanam, directed by Krish, is all set to grace theatres tomorrow.
