Vishal's forthcoming film directed by Boopathy Pandian is titled as Pattathu Yaanai. This is the film accepted by Vishal after signing Prabhu Deva's film.

The film will roll very soon and the pre production is going on at present. Director Boopathy Pandian and Vishal have earlier given a blockbuster hit in Malaikottai and the duo has joined hands yet again with this film. The same script has been earlier planned to be made with Vikram in the lead role titled Vedi but due to some unknown reasons the project has been shelved. According to close sources it is heard that it might be Kajal Aggarwal or Trish Krishnan who will be playing the female lead in the film. The rest of the cast and crew of this movie are yet to be decided.

Music is by Devi Sri Prasad. Vishal's home production GK Films Corporation is producing the film.
