Vijay's super hit Kaavalan directed by Siddique will be screened at the upcoming Shanghai film festival in China soon. The Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF), founded in 1993, is China's only A-category international film festival accredited by the Federation of Film Producers' Associations based in Paris. The film festival has received 2500 entries from 80 countries this year. Among these, 200 entries are selected for the screening session, including commercial blockbusters, art-house films and award-winning films by master film makers. The SIFF has also invited Vijay as a special guest of honour for the screening session.
