Kanden is finally releasing on May 20 after a high profile audio launch. The audio was launched among the grand fanfare by Gautham Menon’s audio company Photon Kathas.
Kanden stars Shanthnoo Bhagyaraj and Rashmi Gautam in lead roles while Santhanam plays as a comedian. The film is written and directed by AC Mugil, a former associate of Prabhu Deva. Kanden is a romantic and comedy entertainer with all commercial elements. Shanthnoo is trying to bag a hit with this film as his earlier Siddu plus 2 turned as a debacle. Music of the film by Vijay Ebenzer was an instant hit with the youth but later the songs got vanished from the charts.
But the few songs in the album, Enge En Idhayam, Oru Paaravai and Narmada became a rage with the music lovers.
Kanden was supposed to release on the eve of Valentines Day (Feb 14) but now it is good that it is releasing on May 20.
