Karthika made her acting debut with the Telugu movie Josh opposite Naga Chaitanya. She has also completed her first Malayalam film Makara Manju, with director-cinematographer Santosh Sivan as hero. And she hit the bull’s eye with her Tamil debut Ko.

Sensational debutante Karthika, daughter of yesteryear actress Radha, is already on Cloud Nine. Ever since the release of Ko, Karthika has been receiving accolades from all corners. In Ko, Karthika played the role of Renuka Narayanan, a sincere reporter and Jiiva’s love interest. After watching her performance in Ko, it is difficult to believe that this is her first film (in Tamil). Karthika is definitely here to stay and shine in Kollywood.
