Simbu's Vaanam has kicked off a new controversy now! Recently, a group of BJP members protested against the screening of Vaanam by making a garland of slippers for Simbu's cutout in Chennai. The protesters claimed that the film showcases Hindu fundamentalists in a bad light.
And now it's the turn of Simbu fans to retaliate! A group of members from Young Superstar Silambarasan's fan clubs launched a protest at the premises of BJP office in T. Nagar today. They felt that the actor's name as been dragged into the issue unnecessarily.
