The actor was accompanied by hid father Kastooriraja, brother Selvaraghavan and other family members. Dhanush had gone for the tonsuring ceremony of his sister's kid.

He had taken on Rs 300 and stood in queue along with other devotees. After completing his darshan, Dhanush met the press in Tirupathi.

Talking to the media Dhanush said "Rajini sir is absolutely fine by god's grace and is taking rest in Singapore. He will be coming back to Chennai in the next 30 days. He recovered totally and playing with his grandsons".

Dhanush tweeted "Had one of the best darshans ever in Tirupathi, feel cleansed and rejuvenated. Thank you God for everything."

The actor also made it clear that Rajini will be starting the shoot of Rana, after taking a few weeks rest.
