To clear the air on this rumour Gautham Menon himself has come out with a denial.
The director said that they had plans of making a sequel to VTV but he himself is unsure on making the sequel. Gautham who was annoyed with the latest statements has given a clarification through his publicist.
The press report revealed by Gautham Menon says "As of now VTV2 is not confirmed and there is no truth on the reports claiming that the sequel will start in November 2011. Ye I am holding talks for a project in June 2012. The cast and crew of the film are not yet finalized as it is just an idea but don't know whether IT WILL BE VTV2 or some other film"
At present, Simbu is busy with Podaa Podi, Osthi and Vettai Mannan while Gautham is busy with VTV Hindi remake and a film with Jeeva and Samantha.
