Madhu Shalini, the upcoming star of 2011, celebrates her birthday today. This birthday is going to be special as her film Avan Ivan has released just three days ago and is running successfully.

Madhu Shalini was born and brought up in Hyderabad. She is a Kuchipudi dancer and had a great passion towards acting. Madhu Shalini started her career with modeling and after working as an anchor for a short while, she soon ventured into films. She started her big screen career in the year 2005 with a Telugu film. In Tamil she debuted with the film Pazhaniappa Kalloori in the year 2007. Pathinaru is her second outing in Tamil which took an average opening.

She later pinned lot of hopes on Avan Ivan and the film took fantastic openings. But Madhu Shalini was not happy with the film as her role doesn't have much footage when compared to the other female lead Janani Iyer. The actress expected that Avan Ivan will give her the much required break in Kollywood but unfortunately, it didn't work out! Undoubtedly, she is one of the glamourous actresses in Kollywood and we hope that Madhu Shalini will excel in Tamil by grabbing lot more offers and hits.
