We all are aware that Gautham Menon's breezy-romantic entertainer, Vinnaithandi Varuvaya is shaping up Hindi. The Hindi version is titled as Prem Katha which is again directed by Gautham Menon.

Prateik Babbar reprises the role of Silambarasan and Amy Jackson of Madraspattinam fame essay the role played by Trisha in the original version. The latest update is that the unit of Prem Katha has come to Chennai to shoot few important scenes of the film. The shoot of the film took place in Amethyst, Chennai. Picturesque ECR will also be featured in the film. Adyar Ladies Club will be used to shoot the police station scenes where the hero will be prisoned for crashing his girls wedding,

Gautham Menon is also planning to can few songs here in Chennai AVM Studios but can’t be sure of that.

Interestingly, Silambarasan is playing a guest role in the film.
