The shooting of Shivaraj Kumar-Priyamani starrer Lakshmi directed by Raghava Loki is under progress in Bengaluru. A song sequence was shot recently with the two leading stars using a special Arrie camera. Raghava Loki said this costly equipment, which has been used for Hindi films and a Telugu film, is being used for a Kannada film for the first time.
Loki appreciated Priyamani for showing total professionalism during the shooting of the song sequence. "Priya lost her grandmother while the shooting was in progress. She just took a day off and then reported for shooting the next day as we had organized the shooting with much equipments, infrastructure and many dancers. Priya understood the situation and participated in the song sequence. We had to console Priya many a times during the shoot, but once the shooting started, she was fully charged to give her best shots. We are very happy about the song. She matched Shivanna's dance movements every bit," said Raghava Loki.
The present shooting schedule will conclude on June 2, after which Shivanna is going to Paris along with his family members. Many other artistes will be joining the shooting in the next schedule, including Komal, who plays a special role.
