It has come as a great surprise when the Vijay TV awards have announced the Best Villain Award to Superstar Rajinikanth. All the fans and audiences across the globe were expecting that Rajini will bag the Best Actor award for the film Endhiran but it was a shocking revelation by Vijay Awards, for giving the award under Best Villain Category.
As Rajini is taking rest in Singapore, his son-in-law Dhanush received the award on his behalf and also made a receiving speech on his behalf. Dhanush has read the speech given by Rajini over phone where the actor expressed his thanks to all his fans for their support and prayers. While leaving the stage, Dhanush also revealed that Rajini will be back in Chennai very soon.
Superstar also gained votes under the Best actor category but there was a confused reaction from the huge crowds at the Nehru stadium.
