In his previous films like Pithamagan and Naan Kadavul, his villains Mahadevan and Rajendran turned out to be very popular after the release of the film. And now in Avan Ivan Bala is introducing a brand new villain. He is RK the hero of films like Ellam Avan Seyal and under production Puli Vesham. In fact RK has approached Bala and asked him to give the role of baddie in Avan Ivan as his career as a hero was going low. RK plays a very interesting role of a cattle smuggler and Theni gangster where he smuggles cattle across the border into Kerala, as it is consumed as beef.

RK's look is designed in a scruffy manned with a shaggy beard and will be threatening face on screen.

Will RK settle as hero or Villain will be decided with Avan Ivan.
