National Award winning director Vetrimaran has turned as the man of the hour after earning India's prestigious award.

Now every film buff and the audiences are eagerly waiting for the announcement of his new project and he did not disappoint us. If sources are to be believed, his next is going to be an ambitious venture which is about the erection of a temple in a new era with hindrances and the heroic manner in which they are overcome. Surprisingly the budget of the film is estimated at 75 crores and buzz is that Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine Movies have snapped up the project.

Currently Vetrimaran is on a hunt for suitable hero and heroine for this film. Insiders feel that one of the top stars like Vijay, Ajith, Vikram, or Suriya will be approached for essaying the mean lead. But nothing has been finalized on the star casts. Now every star actor and actress are waiting for their turn to work with Vetri Maaran.
