Popular filmmaker and 'Ilaya Thalapathi' Vijay's father S A Chandrasekaran on Monday met Chennai city Police Commissioner J K Tripathy and sought action against those who circulated some fake letters with his forged signature. In his complaint, the active brain behind Vijay's Makkal Iyakkam and the present president of Tamil Film Producers Council said that cable TV operators in Tamil Nadu received fake circulars with his forged signature.
Chandrasekaran, popularly called as SAC in film circles, alleged that the circular claimed the existing agreement with two media hubs in Salem and Thanjavur had been renewed and asked the operators to send payments.
After Ramanarayanan, who was considered very close to the then DMK regime, resigned from the post of TFPC chief immediately after the AIADMK swept the Assembly polls, SAC was elected as the new president, even as a section of members demanded fresh elections
