Abhinav Kashyap was an assistant to Mani Ratnam while shooting for Yuva and he had lived in Chennai for a short period. He is younger brother of acclaimed director Anurag Kashyap. After the success of Dabangg, Abhinav is considered to be the ultimate mass director in Bollywood. Now Vijay is in plans of roping in a director from Bollywood to give his larger than life mass hero image.

So, we can expect the combination of Vijay and Abhinav Kashyap in near future as the actor already signed a project with Seeman and Murugadoss.
